In the background behind some trees one can see our new clinic building, still under construction.

Mixing cement in front of the new building. The hot season hasn't yet reached it's peak, but it's already up to 44 degrees Celsius in the shade. Our well has dried up, we hope not for long, so now the workers have to carry the water in large tins from the neighbour's well, which is also getting low on water. This is the fourth year in a row that the government of India has declared drought. We've had very little rainfall in the past 6 months.

In the background (right side) our temporary clinic building. The village kids enjoy helping with the collective work and getting some snap shots of themselves taken. In the middle Dillip, our acupuncturist, supervising the work.

Our homeopath Dr. Singh also knows yoga and physiotherapy exercises and uses
them to complement his remedies as needed. Here he's instructing exercises
to a villager who has pain in his stiff shoulders and back. Most of the
villagers have bad posture habits; they're used to always bending forward
and down for various kinds of work, without stretching in other directions
also. They often sleep in a hammock, which makes the back crooked. All this
results in chronic back and joint problems. After only a few stretches with
the help of Dr. Singh, the man in the photo said that he felt already much
better than he had in a long time.
