This slideshow was created by Dada Devashuddhananda to highlight the on-going work at the Abha Seva Sadan Multitherapy Charitable Health Centre a rural health care project of AMURT that is situated in the Kashijharia District Bokaro, Jharkhand Northern India. The project started in 2005 and is today offering treatment in acupuncture, homeopathy, allopathy (Western medicine) and physiotherapy. This holistic approach of combining conventional and alternative treatments allows the therapists to provide the most suitable care for each patient, offered at a nominal charge.
Teams from the health centre are also regularly visiting villages of the area, to educate the people about nutrition, hygiene and good health practices.
